You have a purpose in life. Isn't it time you start living it? Creative Soul Coaching is about helping you reconnect to your happiness. Happy people who are connected to their purpose don't have time to be depressed. They don't surround themselves with people who bring them down or hold them back. Happy people who live their purpose make better decisions that elevate their life.

My name is Dan Mason. I walked away from a six-figure, corporate career where I was successful, but not fulfilled. It's the bravest and most rewarding thing i've ever done. On my journey, I learned the tools and techniques to find clarity about my life's mission, the uncover what was holding me back, and to overcome fear. Now I share these same tools with clients to help them live a life of freedom, confidence, fulfillment, and joy.

Your Environment Predicts Your Success

Guest User

If you're serious about transitioning into a purpose-driven career, improving your finances, bettering your health, or achieving any other goal, there's one major factor that will predict your success.

 It's your environment.

To be specific, you must hang out with people who fit your FUTURE, not your HISTORY.

You can love your family and friends deeply, but also realize that you're outgrowing your relationships. So many people sabotage their goals and their own growth because they're surrounded by naysayers.

To create your next level, you have to create a tribe that values what you value and has either achieved or working towards the same things you are.

Because it's impossible to amplify your purpose if you're surrounded by people who believe it's best to "play it safe" in a job that doesn't make you happy...

You can't amplify your health if your social circle consists of people who are out smoking and drinking until 2 am every night...

Surrounding yourself with negative people won't make you happy...

Your environment shapes your evolution.

This can be difficult when some of the most negative influences in our lives are family members, partners, or friends.

I'm not one of those people who preach cutting all of your current relationships out of your life. However, I will tell you that you MUST insert yourself into higher-level conversations with high-vibe people who are walking the same path that you are.

When I left Corporate America to follow my purpose, I was in a relationship with a risk-averse woman who didn't believe I could build a thriving business. My stepmother told me I wasn't "qualified" to help people.

I spent so much energy trying to win the support and approval of the "Negative Nancy's" that it was distracting me from the work I was called to do.

It was only when I hired a coach and started hanging out at personal growth retreats and seminars that I was truly able to find my community who made me feel seen, heard, and supported.

How do you know if you're surrounded by the right people? Here are 4 questions to consider:

1. Do you feel good about yourself when you're with your tribe? Become more conscious about what kind of mood you're in when you're with your friends. Sometimes, we need friends to tell us hard truths (with love), but if they're constantly criticizing you, your self-esteem will erode.

2. Do you feel good about your tribe? Are they good people? Do you LIKE them? So many people maintain relationships out of habit, convenience, or obligation. If you moved away or left your job, would you still keep in touch with these friends? Would they keep in touch with you?

3. Does your tribe support your aspirations? Are they encouraging you to be the best version of yourself? Or do they feed you negative messages? As we step into our purpose, we begin to reflect to others the way they may NOT be following theirs. Some people will look for ways to manipulate you into staying where you're at to help them maintain their own sense of identity. This will suffocate your growth.

4. Are your relationships reciprocal? is there a give and take? Or do you find yourself constantly taking care of them, only to have them vanish when you need support? Mutual growth and support and the hallmark of a healthy relationship.

As Oprah Winfrey says,

"If friends disappoint you over and over, that's in large part your own fault. Once someone has shown a tendency to be self-centered, you need to recognize that and take care of yourself; people aren't going to change simply because you want them to."

A great coaching relationship can be the best first step to creating supportive relationships. My clients know I will lovingly call them out on their BS, while simultaneously holding space to communicate their greatest dreams and desires. A good coach will always make you feel seen and heard rather than minimized. Plus we will create a powerful action plan to help you achieve your goals quicker. Apply for VIP coaching by clicking HERE.
