You have a purpose in life. Isn't it time you start living it? Creative Soul Coaching is about helping you reconnect to your happiness. Happy people who are connected to their purpose don't have time to be depressed. They don't surround themselves with people who bring them down or hold them back. Happy people who live their purpose make better decisions that elevate their life.

My name is Dan Mason. I walked away from a six-figure, corporate career where I was successful, but not fulfilled. It's the bravest and most rewarding thing i've ever done. On my journey, I learned the tools and techniques to find clarity about my life's mission, the uncover what was holding me back, and to overcome fear. Now I share these same tools with clients to help them live a life of freedom, confidence, fulfillment, and joy.

How To Move On From The Election With Dignity and Love

So where do we go from here?

It seems like everyone is asking that question today.

You need only one glance at social media this morning to know that half of the country woke up with an overwhelming feeling of anxiety and uncertainty. Because of the divided nature of this election, that was likely to be the case no matter the result.

For many Latinos, Muslims, African-Americans, and LGBTQ friends,  they are questioning whether they will be treated as equal citizens moving forward.

Many sexual assault victims have been left to ask if their trauma will forever be marginalized as "locker room antics."

Millions of Americans are afraid they won't will have access to health care in 2018.

And it appears that all of us, regardless of party affiliation, are facing an uncertain economic future as the stock market has taken a plunge. There is legitimate concern over our investment accounts and 401K's.

But here is what I believe to be true.

Sometimes things seemingly fall apart in life in order for a deeper healing to take place.

There are two quotes that I want to share with you today.

The first is from Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl. In his book Man's Search for Meaning, he wrote...

"Those who have a why to live, can bear with almost any how."

The second quote comes from one of my mentors, Mastin Kipp, who asks "What makes you compassionately angry?"

What's fascinating is the things that make us compassionately angry can be exactly what we need to pull us towards our "why."

That (compassionate) anger can be the catalyst to propel us towards a higher purpose and inspire us to take courageous new action.

In my life, the frustration of staying in a career three years too long was what I needed in order to pursue a personal growth path. The short term discomfort of suffering at a company I didn't believe in ultimately led me to my life's calling... to help others identify and thrive in their life's purpose.

You have that same opportunity today.

There is a misconception in the personal growth world that anger isn't "spiritual." There are some who think we should say our mantras, do yoga, drink green juice, and avoid all negative feelings at all costs.

I respectfully disagree.

I believe that every emotion we feel has a purpose and should be felt fully, whether it's anger, sadness, or even hatred.

The key is to not live in that energy or use it in a destructive way.

We must allow ourselves to feel the low-vibe energy only long enough to understand what it is there to teach us. From there, we let it go and move forward.

The anger that you may be feeling this morning is not unlike nuclear energy. It can be used to destroy the planet... or it can be used to power the world.

So what is it you feel compassionately angry about today?

Are you worried about human rights under this new administration? Perhaps this is your cue from the Universe to become an activist, work on the ground level, and create positive change within your community that will ripple out into the world.

The same could be said for those who feel anger that this election has trivialized sexual assault. What if this was really the Universe calling you to speak up louder, take courageous action, and be part of the solution?

I have Republican friends who are understandably angry over being lumped in with a handful of hate-mongers and racists that we've seen highlighted in the news.

If this is you, consider this as a call to rise up and act with kindness towards your fellow Americans of all races and religions. Is this a time to gloat about the election results on Facebook? Or is it time to reach out to find middle ground with people who have different views than you?

What if our collective spiritual assignment was to realize that none of us at our core, are "Democrats" or "Republicans?" Instead, we are all one energy. Through your love and kindness, you could prove that it's still possible to be a UNITED States.

If you are reading this, remember today that you are so much bigger than a political party. You are more than a race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. You are a divine being blessed with a unique gift that is meant to be given fully to the world... in only the way that you can give it.

Now, more than ever, the world needs you to rise up and give your gift.

For me, that is to be a catalyst to help people reconnect to what makes them happy. My purpose is help you find your gift and uncover the blocks that hold you back from shining brightly as your most authentic self.
